Horse Business Consulting in Stable Management

From organizing your stable to establishing feeding and turn-out procedures, stable management is an integral part of running a successful horse business. I will help you devise an efficient stable management program that will save you money and free up time for you to focus on other aspects of your business.

Are clients slipping through your fingers? Do you have trouble acquiring and keeping satisfied clients? In horse business consulting, I will show you how to build better relationships with your customers and create policies that increase customer satisfaction and retention.

In stable management consulting, we can work on:

  • Developing feeding and turn-out schedules.
  • Creating a hierarchy among employees.
  • Establishing boarding standards for your facility.
  • Drawing up forms and contracts.
  • Creating and implementing standards of equine care.
  • Devising an effective method of client communication.
  • Performing a safety evaluation of the facility.
  • And much more!

We can work on troubleshooting existing problems or we can tackle new strategies to make your horse business a better and more efficient place.

There are three distinct levels of stable management consultation:

E-mail

Horse business consulting via e-mail is fast, efficient and affordable. On a monthly basis, you get unlimited e-mail correspondence with me where I will answer questions, pose new ideas, troubleshoot problems and brainstorm new methods. E-mails are returned with 12 hours (and usually much more quickly).

Monthly: $50/month

Phone

E-mail poses significant limitations, so you might want to take advantage of telephone consulting for your stable management needs. You can purchase time on the phone with me in one-hour increments, and many clients choose to e-mail me about the issues they want to discuss in advance so I’ll be prepared with fast, accurate responses.

Hourly: $30/hour
Monthly: $100/month for weekly one-hour sessions, unlimited e-mail included

In-Person

Serious horse business owners who want to make sure they have all their ducks in a row might want to consider in-person horse business consulting. I will come to your facility to help you develop strategies and implement new programs. This option includes a stable management clinic for barn employees at no extra charge.
